A successful commercial AV system begins with a clear understanding of what people need to accomplish—not a list of equipment someone thinks they should buy.
MCC Solutions assesses, designs, demonstrates, installs, integrates and supports commercial audio visual systems for meeting rooms, training spaces, presentation environments and other business facilities. We manage the process from the first conversation and site survey through system installation, user training and ongoing service.
Commercial AV system design and installation is the process of defining how a space needs to function, evaluating the physical environment, engineering the right combination of technology, professionally installing and configuring the system, training users and supporting the solution after deployment.
Many AV projects begin with the wrong question:
“What equipment do you think you need?”
MCC begins by asking what you want the space and the people using it to accomplish.
You may need a conference room where remote participants can hear everyone clearly. You may want a training room that supports presentations, video and audience participation. You may need displays that can be seen throughout a large facility or a sound system that delivers clear, consistent coverage.
The intended outcome determines the system—not the other way around.
During the initial discovery conversation, we may ask:
These questions give the project a defined purpose before products or system designs are recommended.
MCC’s commercial AV design and installation services are intended for organizations that need more than standalone displays, microphones or speakers.
This service may be a good fit when you are:
Whether the project involves one meeting room or multiple spaces, the design should reflect how people will actually use the technology every day.
AV systems often fail because equipment is chosen before the room, users and intended outcome are properly evaluated.
A display can be technically impressive but too small for the farthest person in the room. A microphone can work perfectly on paper and still fail to pick up participants from the intended seating positions. Lighting can create glare or shadows that make video difficult to see. Speakers can be powerful but poorly positioned, creating uneven sound throughout the space.
Other common problems include:
A professional AV site survey and engineering process identifies these issues before they become expensive installation mistakes.
We begin by asking what you need the space to accomplish—not what equipment you think you need.
That may mean improving hybrid meetings, making presentations easier to see and hear, creating a better training environment or standardizing technology across multiple rooms.
The desired outcome guides every decision that follows.
Next, an MCC representative visits the site to evaluate the room and existing infrastructure.
The survey may include:
This allows us to design for the actual space instead of relying on assumptions.
Once the required information has been collected, our engineers develop multiple system options.
Each option is designed around the same business goals but may differ in capabilities, equipment and investment. This gives your team practical choices instead of a single take-it-or-leave-it proposal.
The sales representative schedules a demonstration at one of our offices so your team can experience the proposed technology before making a decision.
You can see how the system works, compare options, ask questions and better understand what users will experience once it is installed.
MCC then provides the proposal and recommended project scope.
After the project is approved, MCC schedules the installation and coordinates any access, network or facility requirements.
Our AV installation team mounts, connects, configures and tests the equipment. When required, the system is also integrated with the client’s network or other compatible technology.
How long does installation take?
A smaller project may be completed in one day. Larger or more complex installations may take several weeks depending on the number of rooms, equipment, cabling and system integrations involved.
After installation, the sales team trains the client and key personnel on how to use the new system.
Training focuses on the tasks people will perform regularly, such as starting meetings, sharing content, operating cameras and microphones, adjusting settings and using room controls.
Once the project is complete, MCC’s service team provides ongoing support, troubleshooting, repairs and help with future changes or expansion.
Commercial AV technology performs best when the room, infrastructure and user experience are planned together.
The right screen size depends on viewing distance. Camera placement depends on seating and room layout. Microphone coverage depends on where people will speak. Speaker placement depends on the size and purpose of the space. Lighting affects both in-room visibility and video quality.
The technology must also fit the organization’s operational environment. That may include network requirements, existing communication platforms, IT policies, room scheduling tools or other connected systems.
MCC considers these factors as part of one coordinated design instead of treating each device as a separate purchase.
We begin by identifying what the client needs to accomplish before recommending equipment.
Recommendations are based on the actual room, viewing distances, sound requirements, lighting, infrastructure and user needs.
Our AV installation team installs and configures the system and works with the client’s network or other systems when integration is required.
MCC supports the entire project lifecycle, including discovery, site survey, engineering, demonstration, installation, integration, training and ongoing service.
MCC has served organizations since 1972 and maintains offices in Memphis, Jackson, Nashville/Brentwood and Ridgeland, with local project and service teams supporting businesses across the Mid-South.

Not every event requires a permanent AV installation. If you only need equipment for a meeting, presentation, conference or special event, MCC offers short-term audio visual rentals by the hour or day. We can help determine what your event requires, provide the appropriate equipment and arrange delivery, setup and support as needed.
MCC Solutions provides AV integration and collaboration systems for organizations across Tennessee and Mississippi, with local teams supporting Memphis, Nashville, Jackson, and surrounding areas.
Whether you are creating a new meeting space, replacing an unreliable system or standardizing technology across multiple rooms, the first step is understanding what users need the space to accomplish.
